We offer Coastal ScubaDiving/Freediving around Monte da Guia,the first MarineProtected Area of the Azores. Any of the dive sites offer incredible biodiversity. Dive sites are multilevel.
The dive spots are just a 5 to 10 minute boat ride away, with 1 to 3 trips per day, by boat or shore expedition. A diving certification is required for scuba diving or freediving; otherwise, you can enjoy snorkeling. Shore diving is avaliable from March to October.
You can enjoy a snorkel around the shore joining any of our trips for coastal diving. You don´t need to have any experience snorkeling, just know how to swim and our guides will discover you a wonderful world.
The Sunset & Beers activity is a boat trip at the end of the day to enjoy the last moments of sunlight while enjoying drinks and snacks.
You can also jump in the water for a nice sunset swim.
This trip takes around 2h, usually starting at 18:00. Minimum 4 persons.

You can scuba or snorkel with Blue
Sharks. Diving with these sharks is an unforgettable experience and connecting moment with nature. Dive spots are 30 to 60 min ride away, with trips lasting around 5
hours.
This activity is hardly weather dependent
and only avaliable from end of June to end October.
This is a drift dive in open ocean with safety cables and maximum depth of 10 meters. Diving certification is required plus 25 logged dives for scuba diving; otherwise, you can enjoy snorkeling. Check-dives are mandatory either scuba or snorkel, to ensure that you are comfortable in the water and with your equipment.
Princess Alice bank is a seamount to the southwest of Faial Island, 45 nautical miles offshore. This seamount rises from the deep ocean floor to its shallowest point, creating a thrivign oasis of marine life in the middle of the Atlantic.
The dive spot is 2h30m boat ride away (only one way). Trips last a fulll day.
This activity is only avaliable June to September and is hardly weather conditioned. We provide one scuba dive + one snorkel or full day snorkel.
Scubadive is shallow up to 20 meters on safety cable. Main sighting is Mobula tarapacana despite we can see a lot of large pelagics like barracudas, wahoos, atlantic tuna, amber jacks... whale sharks sometimes. A diving certification and 25 logged dives is required for scuba diving;otherwise, you can enjoy snorkeling. Check-dives are mandatory.
Snorkel with Hammerhead Sharks is a very exclusive activity that you can only do at Faial island. These sharks are naturally shy, so approaching them with gentleness and respect is essential. Scubadive is NOT avaliable due to the difficulty to approach them.
The dive spots are a 45 minute boat ride away, with trips lasting half a day.
Only available from June to September.
This activity is hardly weather dependent.
Only snorkeling is available for this activity.
A check-snorkel is mandatory if you dont have a freedive or scubadive certification.
Do you want to discover scuba diving?
A try dive is the first experience for scuba diving. It takes around 3 hours, you will be guided to the underwater world and the only thing you have to worry about is to breathe and enjoy. You will be guided in shallow water by an instructor that will control your scuba equipment while you enjoy the ocean.
